Tool Trims/Updated Armor Trims/ Enchantment Glint Color?

I believe that Minecraft is a game that inspires creativity and that is why us, the players, should be able to customize our tools. For most items it could be the handle that gets customized, but for items like the shield and brush it may need to be altered slightly. Also I believe that blaze rods and dyes could be a cool addition. To elaborate, blaze rods could be added to the armor via a smithing table. This would prime the tool or armor, in this state the armor/tool is unable to be worn, it is only till you put a dye along side it that is able to be worn again. This dye would change the enchantment glint color to that of the selected dye. Either that or it could apply a glowing effect/ just be another trim resource. ( Like in Story Mode). Likewise anything that deals with enchantments could add more function to the enchantment table, as I know that I personally never use them as villagers provide me with the exact books I need. But I digress, the grindstone isn’t exactly enchanted looking but still is able to take them off… maybe the grindstone could also alter the color of said glint? I don’t know… just food for thought.
