Drinking milk grants you its effects (or clearance of effects, technically) and a splash bottle of milk would permit you to clear the effects of others. Just like with regular and splash potions.
Much easier than trying to get enough milk/buckets to get everyone in your party some milk, you could all just gather around and splash a bottle.
OR it could be an aid during a 1v1 if your opponent had potion effects and was too OP, so you wanted to clear their effects. No different than using a splash harming/poison/weakness potion on an enemy. Also good for clearing invisibility of invaders.
You could also use it positively to aid someone who had a negative effect on them. Splashing bottles is faster than giving someone a bottle and letting the game go through the drinking animation before the effect kicks in.
Wouldn’t necessarily have to be milk, the idea is just that you could do a splash potion to clear effects rather than add them. Milk was my idea because drinking milk to clear effects is already a game feature.
I can understand a lingering potion of milk would be reaching because it’s not a potion, it’s not magic. It’s just milk. But throwing milk at a person would make as much sense as drinking it, I think. So a splash bottle would make sense.
Thank you for your time.
