I have been thinking of ways to make PvP, as well as brewery, more interesting. And so, one day, I stumbled upon a YouTube short where they talked about vultures and their impressive stomach acid. So I thought, 'Maybe vultures should drop acid?' Well, I think not; that seems a bit cruel.
BUT they can vomit. In fact, they vomit as a defense mechanism when they fight. This makes it similar enough to the enderdragon's breath that we can have the player be able to pick it up with a bottle! The stomach acid can, therefore, be a throwable item that dissolves blocks and damages armor and mobs in its effect, just like dragon's breath does, but now a pre-end throwable item. Now we don't want the vultures to vomit on your base or grief the environment around them, so I thought of a solution. Maybe put cauldrons to use?
By placing a cauldron over a campfire or magma block and pouring the acid into the cauldron, we can make the acid stronger than it was before. Let's say that before we made the acid concentrated, it could only do damage to armor and entities. But now, it affects blocks as well, and because it's stronger, it may damage armor quicker. Acid can create new and exciting features for PvP, potion brewing, fun new ways of terrorizing villages, and much more. For example, making the netherite armor actually breakable by throwing acid on it, or introducing a new instant damage recipe.
