New events in the sky like Red moon or blood moon or Eclipses , Undead mobs get stronger during this period Zombies deal more damage and get faster ( like the baby zombie ) so engaging in combat during this period can be fatal even if covered in full netherite , these nights are meant to be slept through and staying indoors. Also , the possession from Poltergeists ( a different post by Me ) lasts for 11 seconds during this period draining 4.5 hearts. This would really boost the survival aspect of survival as even in hard mode if you have a basic dirt house , survival is atleast not hard and with diamond or netherite armour and a decent house , survival is then almost guaranteed with no fear factor whatsoever , stepping out at nights is a joke
