Easier crafting of multiple stacks of items

when trading with villagers if you select a trade, then shiftclick to trade as many items as you can (say sell sugercane) and then press the spacebar the game game will put a new stackk into the sell slot to you can sell more again.
my suggestion is adding this mechanism to crafting with the crafting book, when you craft lets say 4 stacks of torches using a stack of sticks and a stack of coal, you can press spacebar to put the same ingredients into the crafting grid again and easily craft more items
