Rifthopper: One-Way Bed Teleportation

Crafted with one {Placeholder New Boss Drop}, three Echo Shards, and three End Stone.

When right-clicked, this block will teleport you back to your respawn point.

The boss could be thematically connected to the End, as mobs such as Endermen and Shulkers engage in teleportation.

Traveling has always been one of the more tedious aspects of Minecraft in my opinion. This item would certainly help to mitigate that issue, along with adding something else useful to work towards late game. Additionally, I do not think this item would be overpowered. This item allows you to essentially cut out half of your travel time between two points without invalidating other fast travel methods. After all, you are only able to travel one way, so the infrastructure would still be useful. Additionally, due to the expensive nature of the item, it cannot just simply be used whenever you feel like it, as you must place the block before using it. For example, placing the item to avoid traveling thousands of blocks back to your base in the middle of nowhere would be cost-prohibitive, as you would have to eventually travel all the way back to that point to recover the block. And of course, you can already spawn warp in any mode except for Hardcore. However, this item makes it much less tedious to do so.

There is no limit to the amount of Rifthoppers that can be placed in a world, however, each Rifthopper will require you to defeat the associated boss once to obtain its drop.
