Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

PLEASE ADD SIDEWAYS SLABS

There are many other players who would very much like to see sideways half slabs. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add them to the game. Just take half slabs and flip them sideways. You can take the crafting recipie and flip it sideways! It would make soooooo many builds better. Also, maybe add concrete slabs? Thank you.

    I feel like it's good that Mojang is permanently against sideways slabs, because it would kind of be like adding some modeling clay to a Lego set. You just need creativity and some problem solving for those builds that you think require sideways slabs.

    Yeah, the official reasoning for not putting sideways/vertical slabs in makes absolutely no sense.
    It is impossible to achieve the same effect, namely thin walls, tall and thin gaps, as well as any form of simple shape detailing on a vertical surface, without just using display entities or being forced into using a specific material like spruce wood for its trapdoors. Additionally, having access to sideways/vertical slabs would undeniably expand the amount of creativity that could be put into builds rather than diminishing it, like the devs somehow genuinely believe.
    An elaboration as to how on earth this argumentation is supposed to make sense would be very much appreciated at the very least.
