Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The several stages of growth of a tree

It's just weird that something big grows dramatically while a potato has 7-8 stages

    This is interesting. I don't think there should be too many phases, maybe just one in-between, three block high, one block wide / deep phase. Not sure how the community would handle this, though. There will always be those people that have some obscure reason for disliking it.

    everything should have it's own stages and be very obvious when it is finished.

    Easier for crops to use 1-2 blocks of many textures vs a tree that uses multiple blocks. It would take more to make several tree growth stages.
