Monkeys
Monkeys will spawn in jungles. Like spiders, they will have the ability to climb up wooden structures, such as buildings or trees, without the need for a ladder or vines; they can, however, use ladders and vines, much like the player. Wild monkeys are mischievous, and occasionally they will sneak up to players and snatch whatever the player is holding out of their hand; they will also occasionally open unguarded chests and take a random object. When they steal something, they will run a safe distance away. In order for players to get their item back, they must either kill the monkey or trade something a banana for it, either approaching the monkey slowly or waiting for it to come.
Monkeys can be tamed using bananas, as well. Once tamed, monkeys will follow the player around and sometimes sit on their shoulder. Tamed monkeys will randomly run up a tree or to the leaves of a tree and come back with an item, such as an apple, sticks, cocoa seeds, and even items that were dropped and left up high; this will help players as, with a tamed monkey, they will no longer need to destroy blocks to get items to fall, allowing the monkey to climb up and get it for them. Monkeys will almost always retrieve dropped items
