Gamerule Disabling Creeper Explosions Destroying Blocks

I was recently making a farm in my world but when I was halfway through making it a creeper a creeper blew up, doing no damage to me but destroying my scaffolding and parts of the farm, after replacing the scaffolding another creeper blew me up. This made me realize that creepers are not fun to play with but you need them for gunpowder. There are many reasons why you would not want creepers to explode with redstone and builds being destroyed or fences being broken causing animals to escape. There are many gamerules disabling other annoying things like patrols, phantoms, and wandering traders so why not for creeper block explosions. also even though there is the gamerule disabling entity griefing this also disables villager breeding and other things you may want.

  I would appreciate creepers avoiding redstone like cats. I would prefer using redstone as a deterrent as I don't want cats to be left outside.
