emerald, copper and amethyst armor and items

we all know that ores like amethyst, copper and emerald looks too few useful and pretty useless.
so why don't add armor and items who can be made with these materials to make them more useful. it could even make minecraft survival mode more addictive

    Emerald is used as a currency, Copper could have tools but not armor, and amethyst is not going to happen, this would be amazing but the way Mojang has been making everything just makes it feel like none of this will ever happen.

    It wouldn't make them more useful, just copies of iron and gold armour (which are already easy to obtain). They also already have exclusive uses, as there are existing ores for making armour. If for the visuals, just use them on trims.

    U can use mods/addons to get copper, emerald,amethyst armour, or u can retexture existing armour texture to have copper, emerald or amethyst texture
