Depth Strider compatible with Lava

I Would love it if Mojang Made depth strider compatible with lava because it would make Fire Resistance and Depth Strider itself a little more useful And not have Depth Strider just Limited to Increased Speed in Water. But For Balancing Reasons I Guess, Make The Depth Strider Effects a Bit weaker than it gives When in Water. Thank you~
