When using a gamepad, you can activate controller hints which generally let you know buttons to press in different situations. When making add-ons however, when making custom interactions or expanding on existing ones, you can add interact texts. This however only shows if a person is using a gamepad
So my suggestion would be one of the following,
A) Make a toggle for PC to also have Hints for instances where it is necessary.
B) Add a separate toggle that is visible to all input types that shows interactive texts but not general controls.
I think this will give players and creators more of a consistent experience for people, especially when someone may not be aware they can have a certain interaction with an entity/block in both vanilla and especially in add-on/mod content that adds very new and in-depth interactions to the game that make it difficult to navigate unless able to use controller hints.
Thanks for the consideration!
