Return Flatworld Feature

Dear Mojang,

I would like to request a feature that was once in the formerly available game Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition. The feature in question let the player customize the block layers to allow more space for builds like underground structures or other. If you could possibly return this feature to modern Minecraft someday, that would be great and make flatworlds feel more special to build in.
