Levitite (End Dimension Armor and Tool Upgrade)

Levitite would be a late-game upgrade to diamond tools and armor found in the outer End islands. Levitite is an off-green color similar to the color of the end portal frame. Diamond items upgraded with levitite would float midair when dropped instead of falling to the ground like normal items. If the player were to die in the void while holding levitite items, the items would not be deleted, they would instead rise up about 10-20 blocks above the void where the player could use elytra, water, or other means to get down close to them and grab them. 

Levitite upgrade templates would be found in End Cities and would be required to upgrade diamond items. Ideas for the effect given by levitite armor could be a slight speed, haste, or slow falling effect because the player would "feel lighter or faster" due to the levitating armor. It could also give a knockback increase effect to counter netherite's knockback resistance effect. Other uses for Levitite could be a magnet-like block that pulls or pushes items with redstone, or a block that can be placed in midair without needing to be placed on something else. 

Levitite armor and tools would have the same or very similar damage and durability stats as netherite in order to keep netherite from becoming overshadowed by this new material. This is meant as an alternative to netherite, not an upgrade or replacement.
