Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I believe that trimming should be a "reforging" of weapons to improve some characteristics to the detriment of others. For example, reforging a sword into a saber or sickle, which will change the attack speed and damage.
    Or adding a visor to a helmet will increase protection but reduce visibility.

    yess even if its not that many (since weapons are way less pixels), it would be really useful. I am currently tinkering around making a data pack and noticed how amazing the armour trims are to tell the player, what kind of protection the enemy has. I wish I could do the same with weapons (indicating things like flame with a red trim etc)

    This would fit in so well with the current update style! Little details go a long way. I’d love to put resin dots on my fire aspect sword; you could also visually tell the difference in your tools that are in shelves, like having different trims for your silk touch pic and fortune pic.
