Sea Traveller

I would like to see an update with the ability to create ships(much bigger the current dinghies). then I could get a lot quicker and move many items to another place by sea. 

If I could reach different regions of the sea, in survival mode, then I could:

• live in two different regions of the sea
• have villages and other buildings
• In multiplayer some playeres could live in one place and others a total different place and we wouldn't feel disconnected from each other.

I don't need endless amount of time riding a horse, sailing in a dinghy(current boat) or make a railroad which can take a long time to make.

I imagine this could work if: we could make our own boats somehow but performance of the game would need to be much better because many computers can only see 36 chunks away and that is not fare away if we think of other games (though it might not work great comparing performance with other games but the difference is INCANE). If you have played No Mans Sky, GTA 5, Kerbal Space Program or crew 2 you will know there are techniques that makes you able to look a lot further than what Minecraft has the capability to.

Even mods can do it better than Minecraft vanilla though it is a mode like FarPlaneTwo with another mod called Distant Horizons using LOD (Level of detail, It's a category of techniques).
