Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Block For Fishing

The idea is a type of "fishing net" it could look like a trap door with a mesh in the middle, and be used to somewhat automate fishing,  to make sure it;s not to overpowered the block could break down. I'm thinking it could be crafted by surrounding string with sticks, the block itself would be placed in flowing water to "catch" fish and other fish-able loot.
