Decorative Trim Blocks

This idea is for a fun new type of decorative item / block, called Trim, unrelated to armor trim.

Any Slab item can be crafted into 16 Trim of the same material as the Slab was.

A Stone Slab becomes 16 Stone Trim, an Oak Slab becomes 16 Oak Trim, etc.

When placed as a block, Trim is a meter wide, half a meter tall, and a sixteenth of a meter from front to back.

Like slabs, Trim can be placed in the upper or lower half of a block.

Unlike slabs, when placed, the rear of the Trim is aligned with the far half of the block the player is putting the Trim into.

Trim can only go along the outermost edge of a block space, and cannot fill the top or bottom.

Up to eight Trim can go inside of a single block space, but only if they are all the same material.

If a block space does have eight Trim in it, it will look like a vertical tube.

Overworld Wooden Trim is the fastest burning furnace fuel, only burning for 19 ticks.
