New mode suggestion - Exploration Mode

It's like a combination of survival and creative; You have unlimited hearts (or, really, just none) but you don't have access to the creative menu- Hostile entities ignore you, you can breathe underwater, you can fly, but it still takes time to break blocks and stuff. Generally creative, just with the same or similar element as survival. Maybe with a waypoint system?

I got the inspiration for this because one of my favorite things to do in Minecraft is to make a creative world, build a home base to stockpile hundreds of items, mark down the coordinates for said base somehow, and then collect anything and everything I come across while exploring the world, marking down cool things I see.
