These would look like a sunken shipwreck but it's not sunken! You can't mine blocks off, if the ship is damaged enough it sinks and a sunken shipwreck spawns in it's place. If you put coal or other another burnable in the furnace on it, the boat moves steadily for as long as the coal burns, can turn direction by use of the steering wheel. Right click the side and a plank extends so you can get on and off. They spawn at coasts, one per village in the world, and if it spawns near a Pillager outpost, Pillagers spawn on it. Defeat them and nothing stops you from steaming away! I think Minecraft needs more old fashioned ways of transportation, and a larger boat is a great way to fish and move around Minecraft's vast world!
