    As it turns out, people have apparently already forgotten just how bad of a mob Phantom truly is and seeing this suggestion with 0 votes throughout all those months makes me actually, genuinely mad. No, giving your players an option to disable Phantoms is not enough - They are in a dire need of severe rework from grounds up and have been ever since they have been first introduced to the game after winning the first ever mob vote. No matter the way they would have had been reworked, they are an issue, a stain on the otherwise perfectly fine and amazingly fun game. The thing is, they just need to change - If not, they need to be completely thrown out of the game. No, an argument that they have had been the winner of the OG mob vote should not matter here. The people who voted for the mob turned out to absolutely hate it either way and many of us still do hate those things to this very day. They are THE mob that no one would cry after if it had been gone. I'm usually against removing any and all content pieces in any game whatsoever but Phantoms are a special case and therefore deserve the right to be treated separately to all of my other beliefs about game design. Many of your players have had already complained that the mob severely damages player's freedom and the argument is still valid - All you, that is Mojang/Microsoft have had done about this is be ignorant and only give us a dumbass command to disable them which does not solve the core issue that the mob has.
