Sculk clipping could be achieved by right clicking on a sculk sensor with either a pair of shears or a sword. This would visibly cut off one of the sculk tendrils on the sensor. This could be repeated four times, leaving the sensor without any tendrils, effectively making a sculk slab.
Clipping the sensor would impair its ability to hear and produce the sound it usually does, reducing the distance it can hear by 1/4 every time, and the tendril-less sensor would pretty much rely on the object being directly beside it, making new redstone capabilities for this block, like a pressure plate of sorts for underwater bases or close-ranged doors. Once clipped, the sensors cannot return to the original state.
