Redwood Forests/Ancient Forests

We need Redwood trees and forests in Minecraft. The wood would be a deep purple-ish red color because we don't have purple wood yet. The forest would be just like a regular Redwood forest. I think this idea would raise awareness to Redwood forests and the fact that they're endangered. Since Redwood trees are very old we should call them Ancient Trees, or Ancient Forests. I like idea of having purple wood added to Minecraft as well.
