IDEA FOR POSSIBLE NEW FANTASY WEAPON IN 1.21: AMETHYST SPEAR

hmm ok where do i start..

I've had this idea for a while now and I think it could go well with minecraft, a spear made of amethyst and copper

This would solve several ""problems""

+ the need for more weapons in the game

+ uses for amethyst and copper

My idea for this weapon is that it can be made with a stick, a copper ingot and an amethyst fragment, its damage would be the equivalent of an iron sword and it could be thrown like a trident, the difference with this object is that :

+ would have a minimum of 60 - 70 uses

+ would do less damage

+ it would be craftable but at the same time it is not a replacement

+ would only be compatible with unbreaking and Mending

+ it's a fantasy weapon, so it's ok with their policies

It's all I can think of for now, I'm open to suggestions to improve this and I hope you take it into account for 1.21 :D
