Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

How about a change to lanterns

So the lanterns we have now are normal and blue from the blue torches, what if the crafting recipe got changed to 1 torch 2 iron nuggets and a stained glass of your choice to create different color effects as well as maybe let us use gold to make lanterns as well
