Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Invisible beam beacons

How about being able to "scatter" the beacon's beam with tinted glass? I find this idea very useful in various aspects of construction. There are so many buildings that look weird with a bunch of beacon's beams around?! I think the tinted glass could remove the beam when it passes through the glass, which is to say,
that we could adjust the "beam height" in this way.
