If you are going to say "no" you should explain why you feel that way. "No" is not a valid argument. It's just rude and dismissive. Sure my recommendations may be unbalanced or overpowered but the core of my argument is that trim should have some utility so solo players feel the need to search for them too. The whole trim addition to me just seems like a low effort novelty in 1.20 that'll be old news in a month or two. If trim sets had utility people might feel compelled to gather them all and make a netherite set for each one, which not only increases QOL in the endgame but vastly expands the course of endgame progression; many sets of netherite armor versus one.

I disagree. However, the armor trims would be a lot better if you could apply a second armor trim. Maybe a few of the armor trims could have some purpose such as gold allowing you to trade with piglins.

That's exactly what I'm wanting: for trims to have some purpose (QOL, extra stats, new abilities, etc) beyond just something to look at. Because solo players don't have anyone to show off to so the allure of braving many chests in an ancient city and wearing the silent armor as a badge of honor is lost on the solo player. Trim is worthless to me as a solo player. There is no one around for me toward whom I can flaunt my peacock feathers.

hello! i disagree with this because :   the trims were made for customization only, mostly as a ide quest, and some of them are pretty rare. and the game would be more boring , cause its too easy.  Thank you for reading this!

I like this idea -- I feel like this would make trims so much more worth it, and actually gives a reason to look for them.

Additionally, I think golden trims should count as golden armor when it comes to piglins.

    no, i disagree

the entire point of armor trims is vanity and customization, if the trims all gave buffs it would just be about the buffs.

the other purpose of armor trims is to easily differentiate between players in multiplayer, which would also become redundant as everybody would choose the same trims, since no matter how hard you try to balance the buffs, there would always be one stronger than the rest
