Chest Entity Animations/Sounds

When you open a chest in Minecraft, it has an opening animation and an opening sound. That's normal, that's what is supposed to happen. Chests within minecarts/boats should do the same, right? Apparently not, because upon opening a chest boat or minecart, it has no opening animation and no sound. This doesn't seem like the hardest fix, so why not? Why wasn't this in the game already?

Apologies for the vague categorization, "Redstone" was the best fitting category I could find for this feature.

    I think Gameplay may have been a better category, for future reference. A good idea indeed.
