The day has finally arrived - Trails & Tales is here! 

Minecraft Update 1.20 is now available to download and play on both Java and Bedrock Edition. What's in the update? Well, just a couple of things...

    mir gefällt das update nur es fehlt etwas nahmlivh wäre es toll blumenkühe zu bekommen für das neue Biom Kirchblütenbiom brauchen wir neue kühe mit rosa farbenen blumen und in anderen mit anderen blumen

    The Nether Relm currently is way to hard to traverse without tunneling everywhere because the creatures swarm your character in almost any area of the Nether you’re in. Making it almost impossible to explore for very long even with fully upgraded armor.

    For example- The forested areas are amazing in the Nether, but having them swarming with Endermen makes it hard to even enjoy looking around.

    It would be great to be able to acquire a type of medallion that can be equipped or built into a suit of armor. Which would make the creatures in the Nether Relm docile as long as that armor is worn. The medallion could remain active up until a certain amount of damage to the armor and also as long as your character doesn’t attack the creatures around the area you’re located at.

    Once you leave that area or take cover for awhile the creatures would return to being calm. Similar to how other creatures in the Nether react.

    I liked the blocks the update added. But I hope the sniffer can find more plants in future updates. The two we can find are quite nice but it gets boring pretty quickly having them dig up the same two things every time. I also am very irritated by the fact that we can no longer place buttons on fences and walls in bedrock. This was a feature I used quite a lot for detailing in my builds. Please give it back 🥺.

    I think about archéologie, if WE Can ressurect fossil And maybe tame some dinosaurs And for future versions we can add pineapples please and add a calamity like a volcanic eruption, a tsunami, a storm with mobs flying and all thanks for reading this

    It’s very underwhelming and unpolished. There needs to be more than just a few pot variants. There’s also not a big purpose for the sniffer, it’s slow and only finds two useless plants. It feels like surface level content that Mojang put almost no thought or work into. This update had huge potential, but it’s a major flop.

    Great update, I have played it for ages, but I think that the update is very incomplete and disappointing. I know that Mojang is focusing more on things for builders, like with the new wood types and pots. All the new mobs that have been recently added in the past few updates are passive and drop nothing. There should be more exciting things out there, like there could be ancient gems and ingots which can only be found through archaeology and used to craft ancient tools and armour. Armour trims should come with small buffs like extra defence or attack strength. A new structure in the cherry grove with unique artefacts and loot. There should be more hostile mobs, dungeons and bosses to conquer for exciting loot. But instead Mojang studios focus on useless decorative things, They can't force people to be builders. They are focusing too hard on making players be creative instead of what the community actually wants, like furniture, vertical slabs, more dimensions and more. They never listen to most of the great feedback that would be great in the game. The game is starting to become more boring, the next feature for 1.21 hasn't even been revealed since minecraft live! Come on Mojang! Make minecraft amazing for every type of player, not just builders! Also one last thing, The sniffer is rubbish, the rascal should have 100% won the mob vote.

    This update may have flaws, but I think y'all did a really great job on it. I like looking for hidden items in the suspicious sand, and copper actually has a use in my book now. The editable signs really help, I can kind of use them as a "whiteboard" for notes and not destroy and remake one everytime i need to leave a note for myself. The cherry grove biome gives me unbelievable amounts of happiness whenever I see one. The trees are so pretty, the petals and leaves are gorgeous, the wood is gorgeous and I have a habit of making cute cottages there. Sniffers are the cutest little bubs, even though i havent enccountered one. Playable mob sounds are fun. I've made a song out of skeleton sounds. Bookshelves are cute, I haven't gotten to using them though, I'm too used to the old version lol. I gotta start using them. Thank you, mojang <3

     

    Basically, there are flaws, yes, but y'all worked so hard and I really appreciate everything you've done for us, for yourselves, for the game. You've worked hard and it ended in great results. You guys need a lot more love and positivity. Without it you might get burnt out from extensive negative feedback. Idk, I'm just assuming, but either way, love you Mojang. Thanks for all that you do. <3

    well i am minecraft player since 2016 i played this game because i loved it

    this game has alot to do in it but there is something that Mojang have to make

    i played minecraft for the commands i loved the commands i hope you Mojang

    to add these things :

    * - /GUI (Java Edition) this command well help maps creator and server creator to be so Creative

    without Mods or Datapacks or Plugins

    *-/Enchant(But OP) this command will help us to make op items without going and type this command Example(/give @p netherite_sword{Enchantments:[{id:sharpness,lvl:10000},{id:mending,lvl:1},{id:looting,lvl:10},{id:fire_aspect,lvl:10}]} 1)

    For one, the update was fine. I think it could use a part 2, but either way there is a few cool things:

    • cherry blossom biome, Pink wood!
    • Camels are cool.
    • sniffer, it would be nice if it gave more than 2 plants.
    • Pots, you should be able to dye them!
    • ( my favorite part of the update) Armor trims, they are super cool.

    Other wise, people need to calm down about the update, it’s not that bad you never know what will come this year…. (I want mojang to add more birds)

    It would be nice to add a feature where we build roads between villages. Once the roads/paths are built the villagers could trade with the neighbors. It could refill chest at that point. It is a Trails update. Let's make trails to connect people some can tell our tales.

    you need to definitely change the raid system so that the robbers themselves throw the potion at you and with some chance it will fall out. It’s just strange that now the raid needs to be called independently and not as it should be. we killed the leader and a patrol came out to us and the village.

    i love the new trails and tails update! i know there where a lot of player complaints about the decorationail featers but like the pots can have Redstone perposes like hidden doors shown in the trailer. the sniffer is a very funny mob in the good way and sort of reminds me of a basset hound in ears and in how it flops down and sniffs up the dirt.

    i'm sad that there are not actually trails. Just ruins called "trails".

    I really wanted to stumble across pathways worn by animals and travelers, or roads connecting villages to where other villages would be done (like using a pathfinding algorithm to avoid obstacles)...
