Pitcher plant vs bees spiders and frogs

Pitcher plants should lure and eat bees, spiders, and frogs. In nature, pitcher plants eat anything that goes in its mouth.

    This idea is fun but I think what would work better is acting like a deterrent to mobs. Like how sweet berries under a carpet works but with a larger radius for example a mob won't travel within 3 blocks of it.
