Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Oak Resin: A new item to craft with

I propose the idea that an oak tree could give you resin. The first way to obtain this  item would be with a bottle. After stripping and oak log you could use a bottle to obtain A Bottle of [liquid] Resin! The other option would be waiting a certain amount of time until an oak tree spontaneously drops 1-3 Cristalized  Resin, which can have a certain chance to have an item inside it if it is in a swamp biome. Sticks, Oak Leaves, Apples, Insects could all have a chance to be found in cristalized resin. You could use bottles of resin to surround an item to get an wet encapsulated item, and then you would have to put it in a furnace to get it cristalized, and then optionally surround it in iron, copper or gold ingots to decorate it. And also, after obtaining liquid resin out of a tree, you would get the advancement, “The Local Resin Collector”. For each oak log a tree has, you get 1 bottle of resin. 4 oak logs = 4 resin bottles. You could also dye resin different colours!

    I think spruce resin would be better. Resin is a good fuel and torches will have an alternative craft with resin instead of coal.

    Smart. There should also be a resin collector villager, a new table as its workstation, but not only from Oak trees. There should be a Resin Block as well.
