Villager AI should be improved

    I agree. They have a big problem with stairs, not to mention ladders.

    1.20.1, they lose track of their workstations, get their beds mixed-up, sometimes leading to a surprise infinite breeder scenario, but don't worry!  You can kill them all with a bed behind a lava hole with an open trapdoor over it.  As previously mentioned, multi-floor buildings are a no-go.  Their AI is almost as broken as one of their savanna villages.

    And during a raid, they're furiously bouncing around inside their little houses, like they're just trying to see who can get killed by the ravager first.

    By the marketing, Microsoft allegedly has all of this AI prowess, but getting the squidwards to find their beds is more than MSFT's wizards can handle.

    I am so heard of this. Recently improved a plains village then it quickly become a mess when villagers selects the shortest path possible even if it is blocked by a block.

     

    Improving and populating a village is pointless when those villagers does not learn how to get to either workstations or beds or even go to a second floor.
