Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

A way to make the bigger oaks trees easier to cut down

Everyone knows that the large oak trees are a hassle to cut down. As a solution, replace existing “branches” with branch blocks. They have no particular ‘direction’ but their texture indicates it’s a mix of leaf and wood (not transparent). When mined with an axe by a player they drop a regular log, but if the existing logs have been already mined, the branch block can despawn like regular leaves, but it will only drop what regular leaves drop.
