What is it?
-
This block feeds off of the player
-
When stood on the player will slow down and sink in like powdered snow
-
Skulk veins/tendrils slowly drain exp from the player
-
The longer the player stays in the faster your exp will drain
-
To get out the player must continuously jump to escape the grasp of the tendrils
-
Exp converts the surrounding area to skulk
-
When fully sunk in the Warden will no longer be able to detect the player (maybe)
-
When the player no longer has any exp the leecher will deal damage and alert nearby skulk
- If the player would like to not sink in they can crouch walk over the leecher
Why?
This block would be a great new mechanic for the game and could act as exp storage. Currently, there is no way to store your own exp so this block could drain your exp and convert it to skulk but some exp will be lost in the process.
This block could also be a way to escape from the Warden but at the cost of your exp. The Warden will no longer be able to detect the player while inside. If a Warden is currently active the leecher will not convert any exp fed off the player to skulk as a punishment for using it.
The design and name loacher came to me in a dream I had. Leecher may be a better name but loacher was the name that came to me in the dream. I had no clue what the purpose of the block was so I added my own.
