Keep Pitcher Plant Crop when the Block Below it Breaks

The unique feature would increase building diversity and creativity

    Yes, please, Mojang.
    Or it would be a good idea to be able to break and place pitcher plant root somewhere else and then place the plant on it.

    While keeping the crop base only when breaking the block below it is broken seems like too bug-like a behavior to seem intentional, I like the idea of reusing the block after the pitcher plant has been harvested. It could be independently broken and added as a new block, called a Pitcher Pod Husk or something along those lines. Functionally, it could then be similar to the flower pot we already have, but with the addition of its odd hitbox and the ability to support 2 tall flowers and maybe some other plants, the normal pot cannot, such as ferns and the various vine-like forms of vegitation.

    as far as i know there is no pitcher plant crop

    yeah, also would be useful for tech mc, sad they removed this
