Pottery shard designs should be usable on signs

I personally have a hard time reading sign text from further away, but since increasing the font size would reduce the usable text space, I feel like it would be perfect if you could stamp or affix pottery shards onto both regular and hanging signs. The pictures' current size on decorated pots should fit perfectly onto both sign types, and it would be a neat way to make shop /location signs that both easily identifiable and less difficult to make out at longer distances. All other sign systems should also apply such as dying, waxing, and double sided usage. As for the shards themselves, since they aren't the easiest things to find I think it would be logical to have them be removable with a right click, or drop when the sign is destroyed.

  I'd rather be able to apply items on signs like they do in item frames.
