Reusable Armor Trims

In my opinion, the decorative armor Trims should be "reusable". When you apply it to the armor piece, it gets used, but when you use a different trim on the already decorated armor, you get the old trim back

  I think, in addition, that armor trims should not be consumable.
  They are patterns to style the armor, cosmetics.
  They don't add anything to the gameplay.
  Including them in the armor transformation moves is unfair.
