    These ideas are very cool !

    I think it could be awesome if we could choose the size of the text. For example : deciding to write the text on 4 small lines, or 2 bigger lines, or just one BIG line.  Like this, short text could be red from further (for instance if the sign is a bit high).

    Love the changes! The honeycomb waxing though, I feel like that functionality should be done with glass panes, consistent with map locking.

    I like this addition a lot! Maybe signs from previous versions could be waxed by default? This would avoid the issue of old signs being messed with on multiplayer servers

    I've been loving the changes and additions to signs, and I think it'd be cool if the model of the normal sign was updated to match the hanging signs and be pixel consistent.

    Both sides of the sign should probably have the same texture. The back of the sign with its contrasting palette is a bit more difficult to read compared to the front.

    Maybe a possibility to Silk Touch a sign without the text dissapearing when you replace the sign?

    Right clicking a sign with an axe should unwax the sign.

    It's a fantastic feature! Definitely something that is shaping Trails & Tales to be a really good update. I like that you can dye the sign text a different color on both sides of the sign if you want, but may I suggest adding the ability use multiple colors on a single side? Like, when you edit the sign text, the new text defaults to black, and you can point your dye at it to dye it another color? I don't know if that's possible, I don't code. Maybe y'all can come up with a better idea?

    It's absolutely amazing! I think only the player who placed a sign should be able to edit it though, with or without wax

    I'm really excited for this update these tiny features make the game so much better for me

    Suggestion for waxed signs:
    To differenciate both waxed and unwaxed signs it would be in the interest for both builders and non-builders to see a design change between the two. A good idea would be to add 4 squares on each corner of the sign, looking like needles, that symbolizes that it has been waxed, showing off a "stronger" sign. Would lead to builders also being able to use it for decorating and is not a big change to implement for the dev team.

    This QOL update has been needed for a long time and i cannot thank all of the people who work at Mojang for adding this. However i do have one critique/suggestion: depending on how much text you write, the larger or smaller the sign gets. only for hanging signs though. i can barely fit 10 characters on one line.

    Waxed signs should be able to be unwaxed with a axe by ONLY the signs creator

    Loving this feature! Could we also have the ability to wax item frames to prevent item rotation via right clicks?

    i like this, but hanging signs really look like a 5th row is available, that odd white space at the last row makes me not want to use the first row at all. Writing on that so called 5th row would be a nice touch to the signs, no longer having that odd space over there

    Maybe wall signs could have double-sided text as well? They could then be used for secret messages that can only be seen through glass or other means.  At the same time, what if once there is text on a sign, the sign could be removed and keep its text? Thus when placing it back down you could then read the backside if you place it elsewhere :)

    Plus for multiplayer servers there should be a way to have permission set to edit signs.

    I love the sign update even if it is a small thing but, I do think we should be able to place item frames on signs, especially hanging signs!

    The mojang team is to be congratulated on this update. It was something that fans had been waiting for years, a dream of many people, and it also makes me very excited to see the care that mojang is applying to the game, with simple and basic things that needed updating

    I have this idea for sign icons. I was thinking about a new item maybe a stamp or a chisel. Something that can let you carve or print icons onto a blank sign. When you right click this item onto an unwaxed blank sign, you can choose from a selection of iconography to print a large icon boldly onto the center. It takes up about two to three lines. The UI is similar to the loom. One of the many reasons this can be useful is of course decorating. Imaging this. When you're walking down the streets of a minecraft build, you can see different shops. A hanging signs informs you of what shop it is. An anvil symbol may indicate a smithery. A grass block may indicate building supply. A sword may indicate weaponry.

    Here's a list of icons I have in mind. Creeper, skull and crossbones, no entry, X, ✓, directional arrows, sword, pickaxe, anvil, grass block, ingot, mojang symbol, apple, mob egg, emerald, heart, iron golem, fire, redstone torch, wheat, pig, horse armor, globe, flower, warden, sound waves, bottle, dragon egg, eye of ender, guardian, bell, boat, zzZ (3 Zs diagonally), chestplate, cookie, firework rocket, elytra, music note, chest, rails, map, TNT, saddle, fishing rod, crafting grid, and flint and steel.

    Ther other reason to add this is legibility. In traffic law, traffic signs need to have a certain font to be legible in passing. For similar circumstances, having bolder and thicker arrows may be more preferable than the simple --->. Plus its more naturally integrated.

    I recommend finding a way to give signs an arrow shape, thereby allowing a crossroads look.

    Those would be some great additions to Minecraft’s Trails & Tales! Here are some of my suggestions.

    Currently, when you add the word “hoe(s)” to a sign, it doesn’t show the word; instead, pound signs (#). However, this does not happen when you say “garden hoe(s)” instead. But you run out of space. If possible, could we fix this?

    Also, when writing a sign, you must go to the following line to save your work. So, for example, if I write “Garden Hoes and Shovels” on line one, I must proceed to line two to keep my work before exiting. Perhaps, we’ll be able to fix this? Thank you!

    I like it
    But maybe a jelly fish could be added for see through signs or text and it could be a damaging security thing I'll do a get more of my friends to rate minecraft 5 star as we know roblox must have its popularity taken cuz its more famous also Is there a mojang studio in America 🇺🇸 ⛏️📦
