Make it so you can brush cobwebs and its faster than swords

When you use the brush to brush cobwebs it works and does it faster than swords

    I agree also there should be a dust-related mob that if you use the brush on it the brush will act like shears and take a layer off giving a dust block or something that can be used to hide items and slow you down like cobwebs

    It seems to me that the brush will not cope with such a web, we have shears.
    But I support your idea of an alternative use of the brush, we could brush snow, soul sand, redstone dust, and maybe tickle some mobs to a stun.
