Bamboo saplings

Bamboo saplings can be crafted from 6 bamboo and another type of sapling in a shapeless way. Depending on the sapling you use, the bamboo tree will be the exact same size as the tree from the sapling you used to craft the bamboo sapling. The bamboo log from the tree can make 8 bamboo planks. The bamboo leaves drop 11 bamboo if you mine them without shears. If you find a bamboo tree in the jungle, that means if you dig under them, you will find at most 5 diamonds under level 23 but it doesn’t spawn yet at level 23.

    Bamboo aren't trees, they're grass and grow from seeds.
