Petition to keep the 'boats going up slopes' bug for 1.20

So in a recent post on r/Minecraft a player found a cool bug that let you ride boats up vertical slopes-

Now some of the comments made it clear that it was an unintended bug and was to likely be patched upon the next pre-release...

However, I think it shouldn't be patched. In all honesty- this feature has so much potential, for many different kinds of utility- I believe this bug should be kept in game- and even implemented as a feature officially! It would work dreams for transportation- whether it be with villagers, or with bulk supplies of blocks (in the boat with a chest)- I think this could really compliment the playstyle that is adopted by many players in the late-game/ post late-game.
