    Maybe add back the enchantment glint to potions, but make the glint color match the potion color. This would also mapmakers by for example adding a "enchantment_glint_color" nbt to items.

    I feel like the enchantment glint changes we've been getting are way too much. I guess two different textures is okay for resource pack reasons, but it also feels weird and not needed, like a strange inconsistency or something. I know this is being done for the armor trims, but I feel like the current item glint fits perfectly fine on armor, and the trims would still be visible. 1.15 also made the glint too strong; a texture mimicking pre-1.15's glint would look nicer too, although I guess it didn't glow in darkness then. The current armor glint is way too subtle, imo it's not nice having moments where the glint can't be seen.

    The potion glint removal also feels like it hurts the magic. The current item glint seems subtler than 1.7's, so removing it seems very strange. Removing it also makes water bottles, no effect potions, and water breathing potions very similar, since at least water breathing had the glint, while the no effect potions didn't (night vision may have this issue too). I guess the current glint could make potions appear very purple for a moment in the animation, but still it doesn't seem like it'd obscure the colors too much; at least, I didn't notice troubles with them, but I see others have...maybe if they had a different animation that kept the magic touch?

    Other than the enchantment glint stuff (besides the nice and clean item glint, it's cool), I think what's been done has been awesome.

    I like being able to see the textures of potions better! But now that they're not covered by the enchantment glint, I think it's time that the potions get a resprite. Making the liquid look a little better and maybe adding some colored highlights could bring back the magical look, while keeping the visibility.

    The brush recipe is an improvement, but it makes more sense to have 3 feathers vs 1 for the whole brush.

    Maybe potions could have unique textures, easier to identify at a glance or helpful for the colourblind.

    With the "high contast" UI option, there should also be a "dark mode" UI option.

    Hi! i have suggestion for a new /execute sub command. In this pre-release we got the "/execute positioned over" sub command. I think it's great! But this got me thinking about another execute suv command I wanted in the game for a really long time, "/execute if weather". This could be really cool combined with "/execute positioned over". You could check if you're in the rain and not under a block. Or you could check if you're in a snowy biome if it's snowing. Or check if you're in a thunderstorm. I would love to have this new sub command in the game! I already love the new commands and sub commands you put in the game. Really really cool!

    personally the new creative menu and new world option screen is...not it
    theres not a lot that goes into making a new world so why is it split up into THREE sections?

    the creative menu...i mean its...fine, but id much rather have it the way its been for YEARS

    or at the very least, an option to change it back

    its great yall are trying some new stuff but sometimes if it aint broke, dont fix it

    The tabs of the world creation screen are coming along nicely, though I feel it'd help differentiate them from the rest of the menu if they started with grass side textures. (Maybe with podzol/other variants to further help distinguish each tab, or as a small chance easteregg) I feel it'd be a very cute/charming addition to the menu as well

    Make it so block and item models can have tints not just tint index’s since people may want to make a block change colour for mods or resource packs since tints are hardcoded even if the model supports tints

    you cant dismount any entity that is not supposed to be ridden (anything other than boats, pigs, horses etc.) using the ride command.

    I don't like how items in the inventory don't match the enchantments speed/strength as the ones on armor do. Holding the enchanted items in the player hand causes it so the items glint looks much stronger on held items than armor. I prefer to just have the minimal enchantment glint on the inventory items I really liked it and I want it back.

    Can you shorten the extension of function files in minecraft? . mcfunction is long to write and it can be boring when we can't automate the writing of our code. It can also be annoying to have very long filenames for simple stuff like x_pattern.mcfunction. I propose to add an extension like .mf or .mcf (in agreement with .mcmeta), which has exactly the same function as .mcfunction. It would also be better to keep .mcfunction to allow backward compatibility of datapacks.

    chat reporting sucks but in all it seems it be ok where your on a survival world by your self not sure if its a bug but the villagers from the village by my base are all gone its kind of annoying

    When it talks about display entities and it says "When a new interpolation is started, it now starts from the current state instead of the final state" what does that mean? My animations are broken but they were fine on the previous patch, how do I fix this? What is the "current" state and how do I make an animation loop smoothly like the previous snapshot?

    With the new multi noise presets can you add a codec for multinoise settings like dimensions do and fix normal world type not being overridden
