Amber and Charged Amber

Amber Ore is a new ore found in caves. When broken with a pickaxe, 2-4 Ambers are dropped, augmented with the Fortune enchantment, which can be used to craft an Amber Block. Amber Block has electrical properties, it has the ability to be charged. This would occur when the player right-click the Amber Block with a wool, turning it into a Charged Amber Block, ranging from charge level 1-5. With its charge from level 1 to 5, Charged Amber Block would activate all items that interact with the redstone in a given block area only once, until it had its charge reset to zero, and over time its charge would be reduced, decreasing the area it hits, and upon reaching level 0 it would revert to being an Amber Block that will no longer have an effect on any other block and can be recharged again. Charged Amber Blocks would have the ability to transfer their charges to each other, e.g. when a level 3 Charged Amber Block drops to level 2, another Charged Amber Block that is within its area will have its charge increased by one level, making it possible to create an infinite energy source, but without the possibility of activating other blocks because they are constantly charged.

Another ability of the Charged Amber Block would be to shoot an electrical charge, with its range proportional to the charge level, which would damage the player and other nearby entities and leave them with the Shock Effect, with duration also proportional to the charge. To avoid being hit by the electrical discharge, the player would need to use a piece of leather armor, making only entities that don't wear them vulnerable. The Shock Effect would deal damage for the time it was applied to the player and incapacitate them from moving.
