More food is better, it is needed

what there would be would be more fruits like pears, oranges, and some other fruit is just an example and on the other hand more food like rice, with everything and its cultivation near water, and that with that you can make onigiris, it would be exciting. Since I have always wanted a new variety of food in Minecraft. 

You could also put the cherries that grow from the cherry trees and with them you could make a cherry jam or a cherry pie, I want more pie...

  I agree, Bananas from Jungle trees, Pears from Dark Oak trees, Cherries from Cherry trees. Add Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Rice. Also make Noodles! Noodles would complement the Cherry trees pretty well. Make Salads! And add drink cups!

  I think we should have corn (Maize) so you could not only have cornbread and popcorn, but you could make a corn maze in Minecraft. It could grow 2 blocks tall so you can't see your surroundings when you're in the corn, but you can hear zombies and monsters.

  There's not really any point of new food items in minecraft at the moment because they would have the exact same function as existing food. Minecraft needs to revamp their food system so that different food items have different uses.
