The overworld needs to feel more immersive!

This video made me rethink my minecraft experience. The complete lack of any ambient sounds in the overworld is actually quite jarring and I think it's hindered my experience without me even realizing what was missing. There's no waves drifting, birds chirping, or wind blowing to make me feel like I'm actually in the world. The nether's ambiance update was great and the subtle background sounds add a lot to the immersion. We need something similar for the overworld.

  Maybe a option for enable this, some people like the horror that the empty and soulless vibes that it gives, but it would be awesome!
