Make Torchflowers Luminescent

I think that it would be great to have Torchflowers be luminescent as it would add more immersiveness and live up to its name.

    I completely agree. It would be really nice to have another organic light source that isn't a vine or lichen.

    This would be amazing! Would be great if it was at around Light level 3-4, so it isn't too bright but still gives out a bit of light.

    At the very least, I think it's mandatory that the torchflowers emit fake light, like the eyes of endermen and glow squid. Emitting a bit of actual light would be cool too, as we don't have a whole lot of plant based light sources. More is always better.

    I'd like for it to emit light while in a clay pot as well

    It would take two variants of torchflower one emitting light and the other not
    The light version should have a highlight texture on the seeds part of the seed texture (by which I mean the stem-like part of the texture would not be highlighted) plus the brightness of the plant should scale with plant stage
    Also I agree with the idea mentioned in other suggestions to make it a plant that can grow on the side of a block and stand up, and the one proposing that the block prevents the appearance of hostile creatures within a certain radius

    Totally! It coumd emit different light levels depending of it's growing stage, going from 1 like a mushroom to 10 like a soul torch for a dimmer and more organic ambiance!

    I agree with one of the comments that say there should be a regular torch flower and a torch flower that emits light. To add on to this idea, I belive instead of it being two entirely different plants/flowers I think there should be the regular torch flower and to make it wmit light you have to craft it with a torch (hench the name torch flower) that way you can have both flowers.
