Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New tool: Hammer

Rather than having a mine and replace a block to rearrange what direction it's facing, a new tool could be implemented to change the orientation of a block. Stairs for example, say you placed it wrong on accident but your axe is about to break? Well with your trusty hammer you can just change it on the spot rather than wasting durability of other tools. It could also be a weapon with more knockback in exchange for slower speed. Either way the hammer would be a very nice addition to any competent adventurer or builders toolkit
