Let's talk about the Cherry Blossom Biome!

There's a brand-new biome coming to Minecraft in update 1.20 - the Cherry Blossom biome. Available to try out now in Java snapshot and coming later to Bedrock preview, this biome is filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees. 

These trees come with a full wood set that is perfect for builders partial to a bit of pink, and you can even plant your own cherry blossom trees using saplings found in the biome. 

As with other 1.20 features, we're still developing and iterating on the cherry blossom biome and would love to hear general thoughts and feedback, as well as how you feel about the new wood set from a visual standpoint.

    Nessa nova atualização do Minecraft 1.20, a Mojang poderia fazer a Vila nesse novo bioma num estilo Japão oriental, para dar um visual mais bonito no bioma.

    I would like several other types of trees to generate in cherry blossom biomes, currently it seems like cherry trees are the only trees that generate, just add in a 2% chance of an oak or birch and it would add more variety and depth to the biome.a little green will make the pink leaves even more impactful.

    Make the cherry blossom fallen petals placeable on any block (not just dirt/grass/moss blocks).
    Fallen petals shouldn't be able to be bonemealed and should be able to be placed on any solid surface.
    Maybe we can get them by bonemealing cherry blossom leaves instead?
    We could get 'Fallen leaves' of each kind by bonemealing all leaves??

    Cherry blossom villagers. Not necessarily a village for these biomes, but a skin for villagers and zombie villagers, like jungle and swamps

    Please let the mooshroom eat either cherry blossom saplings or the pink flowers that grow in cherry blossom biomes. The effect could be 1 extra gold heart.

    I'd love to have the ability to make a bonsai.

    Maybe something like combine a pot, a stick, and a cherry flower?

    The cherry blossom plank texture along with the pink color of the logs and leaves have made for an extremely good biome. My only note is that the petals on the ground be made renewable.

    I love the Cherry Blossom Biome, I just ould like to see an actual Cherry Fruit that drops like apples but from the cherry tree leaves. It could literally have no use other than to eat and maybe a potion effect, but I just think that the addition of a cherry would add to the worldbuilding and atmosphere of the Cherry Blossom Biome.

    I would like to see a new villager village based off that of Japan! Having a pathway with trees littering the ground with beautiful petals with a town square water fountain, villagers houses would resemble a new style of build high up in the mountains and many story’s to be told here of the great dragon that links to the end… maybe? But I digress a new village Themed around this beautiful land scape high up I the mountains very elusive, would make it a rare biome to climb to and try to reach to achieve the treacherous land scape of the mountains, making this a super rare village to find with potential adding in the new pots to the village would look amazing in the “monk temple” style buildings. I think this would add more of a reason to find these biomes to feel culturally immersed into the bamboo and the very very unique structure of the village with the archaeological feel of ancient Japan and the surrounding story’s that could be told within the village would make it stand out and highly sought after to locate! The village would have loads of pottery around and lanterns with the new hanging signs that tell you “butcher” “shop” and so forth… I personally would love the atmosphere of the biome mixed with the new village would just generate a whole new experience within the Minecraft community allowing us to view cultures from within this beautiful biome and having paper lanterns we could light off would just make the village that more enthusiastic!!

    This Biome needs a moobloom honestly. Weather it's a special cherry petal moobloom, or the pink ground flower clump from the cherry biome moobloom. Or even the pink tulip moobloom. This Biome needs a moobloom.

    As it stands right now, the grass color is just a typical plains biome grass color which kind of breaks the immersion to me. Like someone just built on top of a plains biome.

    It'd be cool to see a nice pastel green grass here. A pastel, cool green would look beautiful with those pink leaves.

    The foliage design need to be reviewed to look more natural, and less "cubic and lifeless". Maybe add more randomness to the foliage generation.

    Overall it's a nice feature !

    A lot of people want every biome to have specific uses and mobs so that players will have an interest in finding said biome.
    But i don't think it should always be the case, sometimes, juste exploring and discovering something new should be enough.
    Some players will go to places that give them the most interesting resources, like diamonds or netherite, and then they will directly fight bosses or explore structures. They don't really see the interest in a biome that doesn't offer them with some kind of overpowered item or hostile mobs to fight.
    Some other people will love taking their time to explore a biome, to build a hut in the middle of said biome and to just profit of the moment.
    Minecraft has both those types of things, and i personnally think the cherry blossom biome is one of the latest.
    This biome is just wonderful and stunning, and i really feel like i could stay in here during the entirety of the day. In my humble opinion, if changes were to be made to this place, it should be changes mainly about the atmosphere.
    Exemples : This biome is located on mountains, so maybe a wind sound effect could be added, because the sound of wind is chilling/relaxing and it makes you feel a sense of excitation and adventure.

    2 : If there was a cave entrance located in the biome, maybe cherry roots would block it to prevent  players to endanger themselves.

    3 : a new chilling music that you would only hear here.

    4 : a material to craft incense, that would emit a purple smoke for decoration.

    Perhaps use bamboo or stripped bamboo to create a sliding door frame an allow to place the door texture of our choosing. the recipe should be 3 bamboo top; 3 bamboo bottom, a door (enter far right or center  far left depending on where you want the close position to be), and two slabs.

    Grass Color has to be Pink in the Cherry biome because of the amount of flower particules that falls on the ground.

    While the new forest looks amazing, it lacks character. I feel like what it needs is more foliage, as others have addressed, and I'm thinking that maybe we need another new food source plant. A good choice would be strawberries! They fit the pink cherry blossom color scheme and they have some real potential. Imagine being able to craft strawberry jam or strawberry pie in Minecraft. We already have one bush crop, but that only spawns in the Taiga, and again, the cherry blossom biome is... bland so far, to say the least. Plus, strawberries feel more thought-out than putting cherries in the mix, don't you think? Cherry blossoms and cherries? Where's the creativity?! Cherry blossom trees were actually bred for their flowers, not their fruit, so their 'cherries' are small and sour and gross. Also, according to a quick google search, strawberries may fit with cherry blossoms more than I thought! Did you know that one of Japan's four variants of strawberries, the "Amaou strawberry," is called the King of Strawberries? They are usually large, round, and sweet. But I'm getting off topic; with the new Minecraft update in the works, I'm really hoping to see a well-polished biome as per usual. I just couldn't help myself in sharing me and my friends' suggestion.

    The new biome is very beautiful looking, but the grass doesn't fit the biome in my opinion. I think the grass should be a different colour when in the cherry blossom, like how grass changes in swamps, desserts, etc. I think it should be a more pastel colour, almost like moss, or you can also make it more of blend between light pink and a green colour of grass. Think it would make it all fit together!

    Cherry groves should take the place of shattered savannas in temperate areas, as having a warm biome spawn next to snowy windswept hills doesn't make sense.

    Speaking about pink flowers, I would find it really cool if Mojang made a Pink tinted lily of the valley flower since there is a white one

    Hello, I want to offer you an idea for a mob in this biome and possibly more additions related to them. It will be a Japanese macaque. These monkeys will occasionally appear in the cherry blossom forest, but they will live in the mountainous surroundings near the biome in a new structure - a hot spring. Macaques feed on eggs, fish, and apples. But the only thing that will make them love each other is a Cherry. Cherries will very rarely fall out of the foliage of cherry blossoms (MUCH LESS OFTEN THAN APPLES).

    I think the cherry blossom trees should have different color leaves such as white and dark pink, just like the frogs variants in 1.19.
