Cherries should fall out of the cherry leaf blocks.
I remind you that in the game we have apples falling from oak trees. Also, we're talking about trees that bloom forever and never fade (in-game), so they might as well drop cherry fruit.

I would like to see more foliage and diversity of flowers (tall, short) and the floor should be another color or something. Make a biome variant of this that has lakes and its more of a plains than mountain biome and maybe even bamboo.

From time to time, a fallen cherry tree should appear in the biome, covered with moss and surrounded by moss, mushrooms and flowers.

The jumbo rabbit should spawn in this biome and drop up to two rabbit hides.

Given this biome general colour, it could be great if sheeps colour probability was changed in it; Currently With adults sheeps spawn, we have white (78% spawn colour chance), black/gray/light gray (5% each), brown (3%) and pink (0.008%).

To match with the biome's theme and general colour, i'd put the spawn chance of the black, gray, light gray, and brown to 0, and up the spawn chance for pink sheep. And to get a little more colour variety, maybe red and magenta sheeps could have some chance spawning too ? Just giving example percentages of course, but i'd have the white sheep be around 65%, then pink 25%, and red and magenta could both get 5%.

If you want to create some contrast, instead of red, magenta, and upped pink, maybe you could do the same but with the 3 blue sheeps, or others colours, unsure how it'd look at this point.

Hi ! This new biome Look Amazing (so beautiful). I was wondering : you should add new particles (with the particles of the falling leaves of the tree) that look like the blossom on the wind, it could be more realistic, like there were wind on the biome and the blossom fly away

Bamboo, peony, lilum, lily of the valley, allium, white and pink tulip should also appear in the biome.

It would be cool to have some kind of vines which are unique to the biome

Can you make a Japanese-inspired village type that spawns in these biomes or at least a villager type with Japanese-inspired clothing like in the jungle biome or swamp biome?

I played the new snapshot and I have a few problems that i found:

1st: The biome is too small to be a rare biome (https://prnt.sc/GOAk6zyChJIj), I guess it's enough for a old player that it's just trying to find a cherry sapling, but it's not enough space to build a house in that biome for example.

2nd: The leaves are a little overwhelming by looking at it, idk maybe consider changing the model a bit? I think it's because of the green spots that I maybe think it's strange, overall, the trees are pretty good, but i think there should be kind of a reward finding these? Maybe a cherry! I saw a comment on twitter that maybe a Cherry Pie should be added to minecraft with the *placeable* effect, and since we got a lot of decorations in this update, i think cherry pie should be one of them (enough of the cakes decoration)

The pink petals are really nice, I got caught by surprise when i added more petals to just one block, really good! My idea it's that some height would be great!

Another thought about the biome: consider adding pink tulips and lilacs and peonys to the biome!

(edit): the pink planks are a bit overwhelming too, maybe add some darker pink spots to them!

I thinks that's it, thank you for reading!

Love almost everything about this biome, amazing addition clearly. I do have one suggestion though, since the biome feels especially unique and special among forests, why not have the grass color be a lil more of a lighter, softer green much like how the other special forests have differing grass colors(I.E. Spruce, Jungle, and dark oak forests)? I think that would be really neat.

    The biome is looking fantastic!

I do think that there could be some more transparency in the leaf textures. Currently, they seem very solid compared to other leaf types. It would also be amazing if there was some type of hanging cherry blossom vine that grew from the trees, which would give builders another fantastic block to adorn their builds with, as well as making the biome feel even more alive. I love the particles that fall from the trees. Currently however, they feel like dripping honey, and they splatter on the ground. Maybe the movement of the particles could be changed, to feel like the particles are tree leaves/blossoms that are gently blowing in the wind.

i have a super simple but scenic suggestion.

what if cherry blossom petals can float on water like the lily pads do.

i hope someone sees this and considers it as it would be a small but nice addition.

it would be nice that as apples fall from oak trees, cherries fall from cherry trees. Please add this fruit!

It looks great so far! I do think that maybe the trapdoor could use a little bit of a change to match the door pattern better. Everything else is just lovely and I can't wait for it to be on Bedrock preview to check it out myself

I love the way this biome looks. Though maybe lacking something like a unique mob for the biome, for instance maybe a red panda or a koi fish, those would probably take a lot of time to implement.

My only real problem with it is how the leaves and planks look, something about them feels off. To me, at least, the texture of the leaves is way too opaque, and the planks are very washed out.

Despite that, I think the biome as a whole still looks good. On another note about red pandas, if they were ever to be implemented, it would be funny and cute to see them stand up on their hind legs and raise their front paws like they do in real life. Sometimes they do this towards eachother, and it's meant to intimidate whoever it is doing this towards, but in reality it just looks silly and adorable.

I love the new biome, but I feel like the texture could use a lot of work on the logs and leaves! But great job!!! Maybe add a carpet sized blocks that are pettles on the ground??? It would be nice if the leave particles didn't just go straight down, maybe if they fell side to side it would look much nicer!

I think the Cherry Blossom particles that fall from the trees should look like more of a petal shape rather than a square! Currently I think it looks too much like Spore Blossom particles when the visuals could be much more unique.

Also I like the grass color, but it's perhaps a bit too subtle. Maybe make it more vivid?
I've also seen the idea of adding bamboo and boulders to these biomes, which I agree with heavily.

And finally, I think the most important thing is that the biomes generate too small. They should be way bigger, so it feels like a whole forest instead of a small patch!

Also what about cherries than can fall from broken cherry leaves, like apples? I think it'd be cute even if they're useless.

Beyond what other folks have said about adding other underbrush/foliage, I'd love to see the grass tint mapped to the grass.png colormap, rather than hardcoded. As it is, being unable to adjust the coloration makes it stand out really starkly when used with certain resource packs. Otherwise, loving it!

First of all I can’t believe this is coming to the main game! 10 years ago I remember seeing this biome and thought it was really cool. Anyways..

    -the new plants look awesome

    - the new wood type is the biggest and best thing about this new biome. It’s looks awesome and blends in really well

    - pink sheep should spawn more frequently.

-like the jungle when it was first added it was very “oh nice… anyways” and I think that might happen to this biome. You go to get the wood and flowers and never go there again. Now the jungle is awesome with bamboo and pandas and parrots. So adding another mob might help it. Developing a new mob takes time so I don’t expect that this update.

    - have the grass be more unique, maybe like more autumn or maybe more vibrant. Something that will have people want to have their home.

    - what a great biome and hope it gets more and more love as the years go on

I think the planks should have a yellowish tint to the pink so it´s not the "pink wool 2.0" and a bit more interesting.

The colour of the grass could be even lime !?

If there were birds in this biome as a special, unique mob, it would add a lot to the beauty of this biome. Pink petals look nice, but it can quickly become repetitive to me, so flowers like dahlias or hibiscus can add to the mood, and the pink leaves are too vibrant, a less flowery type might be good.

I love the looks so far! But I have one major complaint, the texture of the leaves, I personally think: no green, more transparent, more variety/variation.

Add flower accumulation below naturally generated Cherry Blossom Trees. It can be similar to snow accumulation, but it only happens under theses leaves. Make the biome less sparse, so the floor could be as pink as possible. Also make it bigger, then you got a perfect biome.

    1. Maybe is it a good idea that inside the Cherry Blossom Biome can spawn a small lake/pond with maybe Axolotl or another mob and on the lake/pond can spawn lily pads and water lilies. The rare lake/pond can be surrounded by a lot of cherry trees.

    2. And now is the Cherry Blossom Biome not so interesting but have a nice new wood type, but it has only a new wood type/tree type with a new interesting flower type. Maybe inside the biome can spawn the Moobloom from 2020 in the biome, so there is a unique mob in the biome. And maybe pink sheeps can spawn there with a higher spawn rate.

    3. More variants inside the biome. It can be again a good idea that inside the biome spawn again a completely new flower type or an existing flower type, for an example Allium or Lilac.

I love the new Cherry Blossom Biome! The atmosphere created by the particles floating around is really cool, and the pink petals also really add to the biome. I think, since sheep are one of the mobs spawning in the biome, all sheep that spawn there should be pink, as if their wool became colored from all the petals and particles in the biome. I really think this would add to the biome’s atmosphere, and it could also make the random pink sheep that spawn seem less weird.

I like the new biome, it's been fun to play with all the new wood as we have never had this color before in wood, which is amazing. But I'm not that much of a fan of how the leave particles look, it would make more sense to have them a leaf shape, like in the mods

Hey, I love the new biome! The pink petals are a really nice touch, but I do feel like it's still a bit empty. I think it would really benefit from ocassional ponds and/or bamboo, maybe not as dense as a jungle but still enough to make it pop. Different colored grass would look good too, like a more blue-ish/teal one to contrast the pink!
I know people keep asking for new mobs/features to improve it, but I do feel like the game already has more than enough to help
